Malawi

February 11, 2006 : Where is that? Why?

We are still in Austin, so really Malawi is in the future. About 5 weeks in the future. Depending on what is going to happen in 5 weeks it's either "right after spring break", or "that is a pretty scary jump to make in just 5 more weeks"

Janie quit her job about one month ago, so that she would have time to A) prepare for going to Malawi, and B) get the Story Workshop Fundraiser going. Jimmy quit his job about two months earlier, for the same reasons and C) because he had to finish remodelling the basement. The basement is now finished, inspected, and acting as the staging area for our packing boxes to mail to Malawi.
